The Georgia Civic Campus Network (GCCN) is an initiative spearheaded by Georgia Shift to enhance civic engagement and community involvement among students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Technical Colleges across Georgia. Launched in response to the need for increased student participation in civic activities, GCCN aims to create a dynamic network of student leaders who are equipped to drive change in their communities. The network focuses on fostering a culture of civic responsibility, providing resources, and creating platforms for students to actively participate in the democratic process.

Let Our People Vote

“Let Our People Vote” is a pivotal initiative by Georgia Shift aimed at making democracy truly accessible and inclusive for everyone in Georgia. Our mission is to build an electorate that reflects the diverse fabric of our state, ensuring that every eligible citizen can register to vote, cast their ballot, and have their vote counted. This initiative also focuses on rights restoration and addressing the justice impact on voting rights, actively working to ensure that individuals who have been affected by the criminal justice system can regain their voting rights and participate fully in the democratic process. By tackling these issues, “Let Our People Vote” seeks to dismantle barriers to voting, promote equity, and create a more just and inclusive democracy in Georgia.
