🙌 Meet Chamarra Wooten! Our Administrative & Development Coordinator

What inspired you to get involved in civic engagement? After graduating I was looking for a way to actually make a difference and I believe that civic engagement will give me the opportunity to be more involved with the community as well as make a difference.

If you could meet any historical figure, who would you choose and why? I would like to meet Martin Luther King Jr. because he was proof that you can solve problems without violence and I really admire what he was able to accomplish in his short time here.

How do you recharge? I really enjoy doing new art projects to recharge and relax. Whether it be doing a portrait, painting, or something completely new, I find art to be very calming and a way to clear my mind.

What are three things still left on your bucket list? Three things still on my bucket list are to visit Australia, fly in a hot air balloon and see a show on Broadway.

If you could have any one superpower, which would you choose? I wish I had the power to teleport so that I could be anywhere in the world in the blink of an eye.

Bio: I was born in San Bernadino, California. My family was military so we moved around a lot growing up. I spent my first two years of college at Kennesaw State University then I transferred to the University of South Carolina Aiken to finish my bachelor’s degree in Marketing. I’m just starting my career and I look forward to all of the things I will accomplish in the years to come.
